Flying Ace Express expands in Ohio with acquisition of three Zips sites
Locally operated brand to invest $5 million in upgrades ahead of August grand openings.
Flying Ace Express Car Wash is set to expand its footprint in Ohio with the acquisition of three former Zips Car Wash locations in the Cincinnati area.
The move, announced by parent company Express Wash Concepts (EWC), reinforces Flying Ace’s commitment to delivering wash technology to more communities across the region. Newly acquired sites are currently closed for site improvements and rebranding.
EWC will invest over $5 million to upgrade the facilities, install equipment, and ensure each location meets the Flying Ace standards. All three locations are slated to reopen under the Flying Ace banner on August 1, 2025.

Founded and operated locally, Flying Ace Express currently runs 18 locations across Greater Dayton and Richmond, Indiana. With the latest expansion, the brand builds on its regional presence while playing a central role in EWC’s broader growth strategy.
More than 25 new express wash sites are expected to open by the end of 2025, including three additional Flying Ace locations.
