Fortech and Huawei partner to expand EV charging across Europe
Collaboration supports rollout of AFIR-compliant charging networks across the continent.
Fortech and Huawei have announced a new partnership to develop next-generation electric vehicle (EV) charging networks across Europe in line with the European Union’s (EU) Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR).
Under the agreement, Fortech will supply advanced payment terminals to support Huawei’s fast and ultra-fast charging solutions. Both companies aim to accelerate the rollout of EV charging stations and help boost e-mobility adoption across Europe by improving availability and user experience.

Huawei’s charging infrastructure combines digital and power electronics technologies to create efficient networks while Fortech’s contribution ensures accessible and regulation-compliant payment systems.
