GreenFlux surpasses one million EV charge points across Europe
Milestone cements GreenFlux’s role in expanding European EV roaming infrastructure.
GreenFlux has officially surpassed the one million mark in charge points connected to its EV roaming network, marking a significant achievement in the evolution of Europe’s e-mobility ecosystem. The Dutch-based charge point management software provider announced the milestone as part of its ongoing efforts to drive seamless EV charging access across the continent.
Founded in 2011, GreenFlux has long been a key player in Europe’s e-mobility landscape. While the company transitioned into a full charge point management software (CPMS) provider, it has consistently invested in its roaming infrastructure, enabling interoperability between different charging networks and service providers.
According to GreenFlux’s managing director, Suthalan Gnanes, the company’s success is rooted in strong collaboration with its partners and a clear commitment to growing the EV charging infrastructure. “After transforming into a CPMS provider, we’ve put a lot of effort into expanding our European roaming network and improving the roaming experience for our customers. Because of that, we now have one of the largest EV roaming teams and networks in Europe,” said Gnanes.
The current milestone underscores GreenFlux’s wide geographic reach. Its EV roaming service now spans 37 European countries, including all EU member states and Turkey, accounting for around 80% of the continent.
Notably, the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium each contribute over 100,000 charge points to the network. In terms of sheer distance, the network’s reach stretches as far as Ankara in Turkey to the Canary Islands in Spain, over 4,500 kilometers apart.
