JET Restalrig in Edinburgh has reopened following a six-month closure and full redevelopment, delivering an upgraded forecourt and expanded convenience offer to the local community.

The site, operated by Rajan Sood of RJ Fuels Ltd, relaunched on 27 March with a ribbon cutting attended by former Hibernian FC player Pat Stanton. Only the canopy and shell of the original building were retained, with the rest rebuilt to meet the latest JET brand standards.

The forecourt has been resurfaced and fitted with new pumps, improved layout, additional parking and under-canopy air and screen wash facilities. JET ULTRA Premium Fuels are now available for the first time at the site, offering four fuel grades.

A full layout redesign more than doubled the retail range without significantly increasing the footprint. Food-to-go anchors the new offer, with Fife Creamery, Stephens Bakery, Rollover hot food, Savage Kitchen and Lavazza coffee all featured. An on-site catering kitchen with fresh sandwiches and hot food is also planned.

The site has also deployed AI-enabled security technology in partnership with RETaiL, designed to deter theft and monitor forecourt safety in real time.
