Circle K relaunches retail media network across North America and Europe
The retailer is expanding its omnichannel advertising platform, giving brands access to consumers through in-store, fuel forecourt and digital channels.
Circle K has relaunched its retail media business under the name Full Circle Media by Circle K, expanding its advertising capabilities across convenience stores and fuel retail locations in the United States, Canada and Europe.
The move reflects the growing importance of retail media within the convenience sector, as retailers seek to connect brands with shoppers through both physical and digital touchpoints. According to Circle K, the platform is designed to engage consumers throughout their daily routines, from fuel purchases and coffee stops to snack trips and loyalty program interactions.
In the United States, Full Circle Media reaches more than 6,600 Circle K stores and is supported by approximately 2.9 billion customer visits annually. The network delivers up to 200 million monthly advertising impressions through a combination of fuel pump screens, in-store digital displays, checkout media and the retailer’s owned digital channels.
These digital assets include the Circle K app, the Inner Circle loyalty program, SMS communications and email marketing, allowing brands to connect with customers across multiple stages of the shopping journey.
“Full Circle Media reflects the role we believe convenience can play in retail media,” said Joell Robinson, Director of the Retail Media Network at Circle K. “For brands, the value comes from reaching shoppers in a setting defined by frequency, intent and multiple points of engagement, from the pump to the store and through digital channels.”
The relaunch comes as retail media continues to gain prominence among retailers seeking to monetize customer engagement and first-party data. Circle K said it plans to leverage its store network, customer insights and digital capabilities to create additional value for brand partners while strengthening its position in the convenience retail industry.
