Krispy Krunchy Chicken reports over 600 new openings in 2024
The brand plans to exceed this figure in 2025 as it continues its national expansion.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken concluded 2024 with 605 new openings in the United States. The brand plans to exceed this figure in 2025 as it continues its national expansion.
CEO Jim Norberg credited the growth to a strategic focus on partnerships, operator profitability, and innovation. “Our efforts have positioned us as a preferred foodservice offering in the industry,” Norberg said.
In 2024, the company introduced successful menu items, including an updated Cajun Chicken Sandwich that earned industry recognition as one of Convenience Store News’ Best New Products and a winner in CSP’s Retailer Choice Best New Products Contest.
Additionally, the brand expanded its reach with third-party delivery services via DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub. A centralized menu management tool reduced operational complexities and lowered fees, with nearly 500 stores joining the platform by year-end.
In 2025, the company aims to introduce new products, enhance training platforms, and form additional partnerships to support its growth and continue bringing its signature fried chicken to more locations nationwide.
