Kwik Trip to replace Hearty Platter with Denny’s restaurants
La Crosse, Wisconsin-based convenience store chain Kwik Trip is adding full-service restaurant Denny’s to its four travel center stores.
Denny’s will replace the four existing Kwik Trip Hearty Platter Restaurants in Wilson, Tomah and Mauston, Wisconsin, and Brooklyn, Iowa and are slated to open on November 15, November 29, December 13 and December 27, respectively, according to CSP Daily News.
Denny’s Kwik Trip locations will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and will also serve Denny’s signature menu service.
“Denny’s culture, ethos and atmosphere are very similar to that of the Kwik Trip family, offering the same great food, value and variety to our guests,” commented Denny’s CEO John Miller on their Kwik Trip partnership.
The Spartanburg, South Carolina-based restaurant chain has already been operating for years in Pilot Flying J and Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores travel center locations.
