Lidl will expand charging services across its entire network in Poland

In partnership with Elocity, the retailer will grow from its current 60 locations to all of its 850 locations across the country.

Lidl is set to expand charging services across its entire retail network in Poland by 2025.

The supermarket chain has already made available charging services across 60 locations in the country and will reach its 850 sites as part of its partnership with Elocity. The brand has been at the forefront of this development in the local market, with its first charging stations launched in 2017 in Poznań and Warsaw.

On the other hand, Elocity’s app enables electric vehicle (EV) drivers to see the availability of charging points from over 300 EV operators.

“As Lidl Poland, we aim to minimize our impact on climate change and continuously reduce greenhouse gas emissions by developing strategies and climate targets. One of the activities in this regard is to support the development of electromobility,” says Aleksandra Robaszkiewicz, Director of Corporate Affairs and CSR at Lidl Poland.

The process of integrating Lidl Poland's stations into Elocity's system is underway and EV drivers should expect the launch of more stations operated by Elocity in the coming months.
