Maxol has launched a new digitally enabled food and grocery delivery service, expanding its retail and foodservice proposition beyond in‑store purchases at selected service stations in Ireland.

The new service, powered by international food-tech company Noahs,  allows customers to order freshly prepared meals alongside everyday grocery items for home delivery through a single digital platform. The initial rollout covers three locations: Newbridge in Kildare, Ardbrae in Wicklow and the redeveloped Long Mile Road site in Dublin, with national expansion planned to more than 60 stores.

“This new service allows us to extend our food proposition beyond breakfast and lunch, giving customers in Dublin, Wicklow and Kildare access to high-quality, cooked-to-order meals delivered straight to their door from their local Maxol service station,” explains Brian Donaldson, CEO of Maxol.

Customers can place orders throughout the day via food delivery platforms, with additional delivery partners set to be introduced as the rollout progresses. Alongside cooked‑to‑order meals, the offering includes core convenience items such as milk, bread, snacks, soft drinks and confectionery, enabling customers to combine meal purchases with a convenience shop in one order.

Meals are prepared locally in each participating store using menus designed specifically for delivery, with initial cuisine ranges spanning pizza, Mexican‑style bowls, tacos, burritos and fried chicken. The retailer said additional food brands and menu concepts will be introduced over time.

Alongside home delivery, Maxol is also deploying in‑store digital ordering kiosks at selected locations to streamline ordering and reduce wait times for customers purchasing meals on site. The company has also extended the operating hours of its in‑store delis from early evening closures to 10pm, supporting its strategy to offer all‑day foodservice across its network.
