Mexico: Valero Energy opens new fuel station in Temascalapa
The fuel retailer has established a new location to meet the high demand of the north region of the city due to the new Felipe Ángeles International Airport.
Valero Energy Corporation has established a new service station in the city of Temascalapa, located in the Valley of Mexico region. The new forecourt is set to meet the high demand of the north region due to the high presence of firms and the newly built Felipe Ángeles International Airport.
The project meant a nearly 8,5 million dollars investment, which was completed in conjunction with the Government of the State of Mexico. The installation will be responsible for serving the more than 1,100 companies that are based in the north industrial zone as well as the airport's operations. The newly built station is the sIxth location installed by the company in the country.
“It ensures the permanent availability of energy for the companies that are betting on industrial development in the north of the Valley of Mexico as well as for the needs generated by the expansion of AIFA's operations," stated a press release from the City Council published by local news site Marco Mares.
After the construction’s completion, Alfredo del Mazo Maza, Governor of the State of Mexico, met with representatives of the company, led by Carlos García Rodríguez, General Manager of Valero Energy Mexico, to discuss the commencing of operations in the station.
