OIL! rolls out mobile payments at stations across Germany
Fuel retailer launches digital payment service powered by PACE Telematics.
OIL! Tankstellen has officially launched mobile payment at its fuel stations in Germany, marking a major milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey.
With more than 100 out of 220 locations already live, OIL! plans to expand the service to at least 170 stations by summer, streamlining the payment process and enhancing customer convenience at the pump. Through the PACE Drive app by PACE Telematics and the Mobile Payment Hub (MPH), OIL! customers can now refuel and pay directly via smartphone.
The option supports services like Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, credit cards, and various fuel and fleet cards. Additional payment partners such as DKV and Roadrunner are also being incorporated to support both private and business customers with fuel cards.
This launch marks OIL!’s first major move into mobile payment and aligns with the company’s commitment to innovation, efficiency, and modernizing the refueling experience.
With the rollout underway and rapid progress being made across its network, OIL! is setting a strong example for digital transformation in the German fuel retail industry.
