Orlen grows Czech Stop Cafe menu with chef-led gourmet offer
Partnership with chef Roman Staša brings limited‑edition items to selected service stations.
Orlen has introduced a limited‑edition range of chef‑developed menu items at its Stop Cafe outlets in the Czech Republic, marking the start of a new phase in the evolution of its foodservice offering at service stations.
Developed in collaboration with Czech chef Roman Staša, the new products include a gourmet hot dog and a pork hoisin burger. The items are being rolled out at selected Orlen stations nationwide, expanding the Stop Cafe menu with dishes positioned as higher‑quality, chef‑crafted options for customers on the move.
The launch reflects the company’s broader strategy to strengthen non‑fuel retail by enhancing its foodservice proposition. Stop Cafe has become a central component of that effort, with the brand increasingly focusing on differentiated products, consistent quality and menu innovation to attract repeat visits and increase dwell time at stations.
Beyond service stations, Orlen is extending the Stop Cafe concept into consumer events and food‑focused settings. It has partnered with a national food festival series in the Czech Republic, using temporary locations to showcase new menu items and seasonal beverages. The move is intended to increase brand visibility and position Stop Cafe as a standalone food brand rather than a purely convenience‑driven offering.
Orlen currently operates 443 stations in the Czech Republic, where it holds a leading market position in fuel sales. Stop Cafe is available at more than 80% of those locations and is present at nearly 2,500 sites within the entire international network.
