ORLEN is teaming up with Google Cloud to advance the adoption of artificial intelligence across its business. The partnership will provide the Polish energy giant with cutting-edge solutions to develop integrated digital tools in retail and energy.

The agreement covers advanced data analytics and data science, the development of a modern data platform, and the acquisition of new digital skills.

“The agreement with Google Cloud is a milestone in delivering our digital strategy. This partnership demonstrates how technology can drive long-term growth and create value in a rapidly changing business environment,” says Robert Soszyński, COO and Vice President of the Management Board of ORLEN.

Digital transformation is a pillar of the ORLEN Group’s 2035 strategy, “The Energy of Tomorrow Starts Today.” The strategic roadmap published in January emphasises the use of digital tools and effective Group-wide data management as key enablers of a successful energy transition.

“Together with Google Cloud, we are deploying AI-driven solutions, advanced data analytics and data science to boost the ORLEN Group’s operational and sales performance,” adds Michał Furman, Executive Director for Digital Transformation and Information Technology at ORLEN.
