Plenitude partners with Ikea to install charging stations across Italian stores
Close to 250 new chargers will be available to the Swedish company's employees as well as suppliers and visitors throughout the country.
Plenitude, through its subsidiary Be Charge, and Ikea have signed an agreement to install 250 charging stations across Italy’s network of stores. The equipment will be located within the parking areas of the locations throughout the country.
Visitors, employees and suppliers will be able to recharge their cars at the stations with certified energy. Electricity is of European origin, as the energy supplied into the grid is produced by plants powered by 100% renewable sources.
"Our goal remains to be the best ally of families and businesses for the energy transition. The development of electric mobility and our charging infrastructure network, which currently has more than 16,000 points, is an integral part of our strategy," said Stefano Goberti, CEO of Plenitude.
Plenitude is the e-mobility subsidiary of Italian mobility company Eni.
