Q-Park Netherlands partners with GreenFlux for EV charging management

Migration of 1,700 charge points strengthens European focus on smart mobility solutions.

Q-Park Netherlands has selected GreenFlux to power its EV charging management platform, marking a significant step in the operator’s strategy to expand and optimize charging services across its parking network.

The agreement involves the migration of 1,700 Q-Park charge points to the GreenFlux back end. The platform was chosen for its multi-level smart-charging capabilities and flexible Charge Point Management System (CPMS) options, which will enable the operator to improve efficiency and customer experience.

“We are thrilled to see that the Q-Park partnership has been finalized. With the deal, we further expand our presence in the European commercial parking space,” said Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director at GreenFlux. “This partnership demonstrates our commitment to drive the future of commercial parking as we now serve the top commercial parking operators in Europe.”

Both companies share strong Dutch roots and a European outlook, with operations in markets such as Germany, France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. Their alignment on sustainability and high-quality mobility solutions underpins the partnership.

“EV charging is increasingly important for Q-Park as our customers expect to be able to charge while parking. The collaboration with GreenFlux provides us with more flexibility and control, allowing us to facilitate our growth ambitions,” said Michiel Tenge, Managing Director at Q-Park Netherlands. “EV charging is part of our proposition to make cities liveable and accessible.”

To complete the transition, GreenFlux migrated the Q-Park charge points from the Shell Recharge back end. Both companies acknowledged Shell Recharge for its support in ensuring a smooth and complex migration.
