QuikTrip marks milestone with opening of 1,200th store

New Georgia location highlights the retailer’s growing national footprint and ongoing expansion plans.

QuikTrip has opened its 1,200th store, marking a major milestone in the company’s nationwide expansion. The new location, situated in Morrow, Georgia, becomes the retailer’s 181st store in the state, underscoring Georgia’s role as one of QuikTrip’s most significant markets.

The company said it plans to continue accelerating its U.S. growth, with more than 80 new stores scheduled to open in 2026. According to QuikTrip, the pipeline reflects “a disciplined growth strategy built on operational consistency, employee retention and strong customer demand.”

The Morrow store features a QT Kitchen, the brand’s foodservice program offering a variety of grab‑and‑go meals and made‑to‑order items. The site also includes QuikTrip’s expanded coffee program, which serves 12 varieties including hot and iced lattes.

Robert Smith, QuikTrip’s Atlanta Director of Operations, said the milestone reflects both the company’s history in the region and the strength of its operating model. “Reaching our 1,200th store is a milestone that reflects the strength of our business model—one built on taking care of employees, earning customer trust and showing up consistently for the communities we serve,” he said.

The company continues to expand strategically across new and existing markets as it strengthens its presence in the convenience retail and foodservice segments.
