Repsol’s Waylet adds more than 550 car parks in Spain

Payment and loyalty app teams up with Arrive to let drivers secure a space before setting off, with 2% back in Waylet balance on every booking.

Waylet, the payment and loyalty app of Spanish multi-energy company Repsol, has launched advance parking reservations in partnership with global parking platform Arrive. The new service covers more than 550 car parks across Spain.

The app, which has close to 11 million registered users, now lets drivers choose the location, dates and time of their stay and secure a space before starting their journey.

Through the new “Asegurar plaza” (secure a space) option, users can search car parks by city or name, check availability and compare location and price. Bookings are confirmed and paid directly in the app.

Each reservation earns users 2% back in Waylet balance, which can be saved for future purchases or used to reduce the cost of new parking bookings. Users also receive access instructions in advance, and at car parks equipped with Waylet’s automatic payment, barriers open automatically on arrival.

“The possibility of reserving a parking space before starting the journey gives users peace of mind and convenience. With this new feature, we continue to strengthen Waylet’s role as a platform that brings together useful solutions to support customers in their daily mobility in an increasingly simple and digital way,” said Elena Cano, CEO of Waylet.

The reservation service complements Waylet’s existing parking offer, which includes payment for regulated on-street parking and automatic payment at car parks in the Waylet network. Arrive’s reservations platform provides the technology to integrate bookable spaces from across Spain into the app.
