Shell opens second Shell Café in Saudi Arabia with Jeddah launch

Shell has opened its second Shell Café in Saudi Arabia, this time at a fuel station in Jeddah, expanding the brand's footprint in the Kingdom following the debut location in Riyadh.
The new site combines a Shell Café and convenience store with oil change and car wash services, positioned as a single stop for motorists seeking fuel, food and vehicle care in one visit.
"We are delighted to announce the Grand Opening of our second Shell Café," said Wahdi Awan, site manager for Shell Retail Fuel Operations, in a LinkedIn post celebrating the launch.
The opening builds on Shell's broader foodservice push across its retail network, reinforcing the company's strategy of pairing convenience retail with core fuel operations as forecourts increasingly compete on non-fuel offerings.
The launch comes ahead of the NACS Convenience Summit Middle East Africa, set for November 16-18 in Riyadh, where industry attendees are expected to visit Shell's expanding café network in the Kingdom.
