SPAR International is strengthening its digital engagement capabilities by offering a new platform to help retailers manage local marketing efforts more effectively across multiple locations.

Through a collaboration with digital marketing technology provider SocioLocal, SPAR will introduce the SocioConnect platform to its country organisations. The platform enables centralised coordination of hyper-local campaigns, offering tools for performance tracking, brand consistency, and scalable customer engagement.

The system has already been adopted by SPAR operators in Ireland and some regions of the UK, where it has helped improve local marketing outcomes.

SPAR International sees this rollout as a way to equip independent retailers with tools to better connect with customers through digital channels, aligning with evolving consumer behaviour and the increasing influence of social media on shopping habits.
