SPAR Norway has launched a new SPAR QuickCommerce solution designed to meet growing consumer expectations for speed and convenience. The service enables customers to receive their groceries in as little as 20 to 45 minutes, without adding complexity or cost for local retailers.

Developed in collaboration with several parts of the organisation including IT, Procurement and Foodora, the solution positions quick‑commerce as a growth opportunity by leveraging the subsidiary’s digital capabilities to connect retailers to new platforms. The system includes robust API integration that automates data flows between stores and delivery providers. In stores, employees use the Foodora terminal to pick and hand orders to couriers, who deliver directly to customers.

The QuickCommerce service launched in September 2025 through 16 SPAR locations and has expanded to more than 60 stores by the first quarter of 2026. Customers can shop from home and receive their groceries quickly and reliably at standard in‑store pricing.

SPAR Norway sees continued potential for the programme across NorgesGruppen’s wider store portfolio. Future enhancements include integration of the Trumf loyalty programme, improved campaign tools, real‑time inventory visibility within delivery apps and advanced reporting features.

With demand rising for rapid delivery options, SPAR Norway says the QuickCommerce solution strengthens its ability to meet evolving customer expectations while supporting its broader strategy of innovation, digitalisation and profitable omnichannel growth.
