Thorntons extends reach with new Louisville location
The retailer has expanded its footprint in Kentucky with a new 4,400 square foot facility with amenities such as self-checkout and 16 auto fueling positions.
Thorntons has announced the opening of its newest Louisville, Kentucky, location. The company now operates a total of 45 stores in Louisville and Southern Indiana with its latest 4,400 square foot facility which features a number of amenities to serve its guests.
The new installation includes self-checkout for a faster and more efficient guest experience, wide range of food and beverage options with freshly made burritos, sandwiches and a variety of beverages; and 16 auto fueling positions and two diesel lanes.
Opened on Friday, the company held an official inauguration event where its first 100 guests received a free swag bag. In addition, other activities were held including music, games, giveaways and an official ribbon cutting ceremony. The retailer also donated $2,500 to Kentucky Harvest in honour of the new store opening.
Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Thorntons is part of the bp portfolio and operates more than 200 stores throughout the United States. Its network extends throughout Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Florida.
