Coleman Oil Co. has purchased Busch Distributing Inc. after a deal that included its Sunset Marts convenience store chain. The transaction closed at the beginning of December and included other properties such as marketing and distribution assets of Pullman, Busch’s four bulk fuel plants located in Idaho, its transportation fleet and Chevron lubricants business.

“With this acquisition we will proudly own and operate over 100 cardlock fueling locations, 13 bulk plants and 12 retail fuel and convenience stores in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon to meet your requirements throughout the region. Coleman Oil is ready to become your partner and we will work hard to meet your expectations,” stated Ian and Bob Coleman, President and CEO respectively of Coleman Oil.

“We feel fortunate that we were able to find a company with similar values to our own. Coleman is a third generation family business. They are retaining the staff of Busch Distributors and Sunset Marts. Your contacts will be at the same locations and telephone numbers that you use now. Ian and Bob Coleman look forward to meeting you and are available for other questions you may have,” commented Eric Busch, CEO of Busch Distributors, Inc.

Negotiations included 24 commercial fueling network cardlock and CFNnet sites as well. The installations consist of a mix of manned and unmanned service stations where clients can pay with credit or debit cards mostly in business-to-business transactions.
