USA: Royal Farms allies with NCR for self-checkout on all of its stores
The technology provider will support the chain of convenience stores to equip its more than 250 stores with the service.
The Royal Farms chain of convenience stores will update all of its locations with self-checkout solutions in an expansion of its partnership with NCR. The technology provider will help in equipping the more than 250 brand’s stores in the United States with the service.
“We introduced the first NCR self-checkout solutions in 2019, and while we saw direct benefits in the same year, it really took off in 2021 when many of our customers steered to touch-free interactions,” said Royal Farm’s Project Manager Marketing Shelby Kemp. “Retailers like Royal Farms must stay laser-focused on placing the consumer at the heart of their digital transformation efforts,” added David Wilkinson, President and General Manager of NCR Retail.
In addition, this will build the companies association, which originated in the implementation of its point-of-sale software. Updating each location will improve efficiencies for staff and the in-store experience for customers.
