UTA Edenred expands HVO100 network to over 1,800 stations
HVO100 diesel can now be found at UTA acceptance network stations in 15 countries.
UTA Edenred continues to expand its acceptance network for Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), a sustainable alternative to conventional diesel fuel. HVO100 is now available to UTA customers at over 1,800 fuel stations across 15 European countries.
“We not only make mobility easier for customers throughout Europe but also help them become more environmentally compliant. Our vast, growing HVO100 network contributes significantly to this,” said Lukas Schneider, Commercial Director EMEA at UTA Edenred.
Obtained from industrial and agricultural fat and oil residues, HVO is a sustainable alternative to fossil diesel. It has almost identical chemical properties to fossil diesel and can be mixed with conventional diesel in different concentrations. -starting properties, making it suitable for cold temperature applications.
In principle, HVO100 and HVO blends can serve as direct replacements for conventional diesel.
