Virši builds first full-service station in Kuldīga
New 24/7 location follows a €1.6 million investment to expand the company’s network and adds fuel and high-power EV charging to western Latvia.
Virši has expanded its presence in Latvia with the opening of a new service station in Kuldīga, marking the company’s first full-service site in the town.
The newly developed 3,300 m² site represents an investment of €1.6 million and features a 90.6 m² convenience store, indoor and outdoor seating areas, and refueling options for both conventional and electric vehicles (VE). The station includes parking for up to 15 cars and two lorries.
Jānis Vība, Chairman of the Board at Virši, said the launch strengthens the company’s growing network across Latvia. “This is our second station built this year and already the 84th in the Virši network. The Kuldīga service station is strategically important to us, as we had not been represented in this area before,” he said, noting that the company aims to improve customer access and expand its geographic footprint.
Virši, which is celebrating 30 years in the energy and convenience retail sector, now operates 84 service stations and employs more than 900 people across Latvia.
