The retailer is focusing on revamping its fueling network throughout 2025 and surpass 450 locations across 34 states.
Walmart is strengthening its convenience services by opening or remodeling more than 45 fuel and convenience locations across the United States this year.
The expansion underscores the retailer’s commitment to providing affordable and accessible shopping experiences, leveraging its extensive physical store network. With this investment, the chain’s fuel and convenience footprint will surpass 450 locations across 34 states.
"By adding dozens of fuel and convenience stations this year, we are bringing even more value to our customers. Customers shop Walmart for our everyday low prices and convenience offerings, and fuel stations are another example of us responding to our customer and member needs," said Dave DeSerio, Vice President of Fuel and Convenience at Walmart U.S.
The company currently operates over 400 fuel and convenience locations nationwide, offering a one-stop shopping experience that extends its low pricing model to fuel, snacks, and beverages.
The expansion aligns with Walmart’s strategy to enhance accessibility and ease of shopping, allowing customers to seamlessly integrate fuel stops with their regular shopping trips.
