Yesway names new VP of Facilities
Industry veteran Robert Drake to oversee maintenance, safety and cost efficiency across 447-store network.
Yesway has appointed Robert “Robbie” Drake as Vice President of Facilities, tasked with overseeing maintenance and repair operations across the company’s multi-state portfolio of gas stations and convenience stores.
In his new role, Drake will report to Thomas W. Brown, Chief Real Estate Officer, and lead a dispersed team of maintenance professionals and technicians. His remit includes improving operational uptime, strengthening regulatory compliance and enhancing the in-store environment for customers and employees.
“Robbie brings a rare blend of strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise to our organization,” Brown said. “His track record leading large, complex maintenance programs—while improving cost discipline and equipment reliability—will accelerate our efforts to deliver safe, well-maintained stores that support our field teams.”
Drake joins Yesway with more than 20 years of leadership experience in facilities management, HVAC systems and retail maintenance for major convenience and fuel retailers. Most recently, he served as Director of Strategic Maintenance and Facilities at Murphy USA, where he led a team of over 30 professionals responsible for maintaining more than 1,700 fueling stations and convenience stores.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, Yesway operates 447 convenience stores across nine states in the Midwest and Southwest, including its Allsup’s-branded locations.
