Innovative multi-fuel forecourt & transfer solutions with ELAFLEX Group
At UNITI expo 2026, ELAFLEX Group made the case that the energy transition runs through every hose, coupling and nozzle on the forecourt.
The forecourt equipment sector is undergoing one of its most significant transformations in decades, and few companies are better positioned to navigate it than ELAFLEX Group. At UNITI expo 2026 in Stuttgart, MobilityPlaza spoke with two members of the Elaflex Hiby leadership team about how the group is evolving from a nozzle specialist into a full-spectrum fluid transfer solutions provider, and why that evolution is inseparable from the energy transition itself.
Thomas Wullkopf, Head of Sales, was keen to reframe how the industry understands Elaflex. The group, which encompasses brands including MannTek, Dantec and Oasis, has long been associated with nozzles, but the product range runs far deeper: hoses, fittings, couplings, breakaways, ball valves and hose reel solutions for the transfer of dangerous goods and sensitive fluids. Among the innovations on show was a new composite nozzle body offering greater durability across a wider range of applications.
For Florian Dewald, Head of Product Management, the energy transition is the primary driver of Elaflex's product roadmap. The company is now active across CNG, LNG and hydrogen, applying the same end-to-end approach it has long brought to liquid fuels and LPG. On hydrogen, Dewald spoke about the commercial-grade nozzle for liquid hydrogen truck refueling, alongside bunkering couplings, trailer transfer equipment and compressed hydrogen solutions for both 350 and 700 bar service station applications.
The breadth of Elaflex's presence at UNITI expo made a clear argument: as the forecourt and transport sectors evolve to handle an ever-wider spectrum of energies, the demand for certified, safety-engineered fluid transfer equipment grows with it.
