ADNOC Distribution to offer premium services, fuel delivery
ADNOC Distribution will offer its customers in Abu Dhabi more options when pumping fuel—a self-service fuel pump or a new premium service with a small fee.
The UAE petrol station operator will introduce premium lanes and unmanned pumps at its 40 Abu Dhabi petrol stations from mid-April, and will be rolled out to other stations in the country throughout 2018, reports Arabian Business.
Premium service will be the traditional service where a petrol station attendant refuels the customer’s vehicle while self-service will require customers to refuel their vehicle by themselves.
Fees are still being finalized and will initially be waived while customers familiarize themselves with the new system. Elderly and individuals with disability will be exempt from any premium-service charges, according to Gulf Business.
In addition, ADNOC Distribution is introducing a delivery service called MyStation, which offers LPG cylinders or fuel getting delivered to customer’s home or vehicle.
