Alinz, Petrocard eye manufacturing 50,000 portable petrol pumps in India
Delhi-based Alinz Portable Petrol Pump is partnering with Czech firm Petrocard to set up manufacturing facilities in India that will produce portable petrol pumps.
Alinz and Petrocard are targeting to manufacture 50,000 portable petrol pumps in five to seven years for domestic and international markets, reports The Economic Times.
The portable format, recently approved by the Indian government, would be useful in land-scarce areas as well as in rural and mountainous regions that have difficulty to access conventional petrol stations.
It can dispense 10,000 to 35,000 litres of diesel, petrol, and LPG, and easy to set up and dismantle.
