Aloha Petroleum acquires assets including two Shell gas stations and c-stores
Aloha Petroluem has announced the acquisition of the Hawaiian assets of MFM Inc., which include two Shell has stations, two Subway restaurant and four convenience stores.
The fuel retailing company, a subsidiary of Sunoco LP, expects the sale to be completed by the end of the year. Meanwhile, it will operate the locations under all the current brands.
“The acquisition is a great opportunity to grow our retail store operations on the island of Kauai, and we look forward to continuing to service and cater to the needs of the local residents,” said Richard Parry, president and chief executive officer of Aloha Petroleum.
Acquired assets include Shell gas stations in Kapaa and Kilauea, Subway stores in Kilauea and Eleele, a Shell Food Mart in Kapaa and Menehune Food Mart stores in Kilauea, Kekaha and Kapahi.
Aloha Petroleum is one of the leading retailers in the Hawaiian market. It markets through around a 100 Shell, Aloha and Mahalo branded stations and 46 Aloha Island Mart c-stores throughout the islands.
