Angola: Totsa Total & Trafigura ensure fuel supply
The two global companies will supply gasoline and diesel to the African nation after winning public tenders.
Totsa Total Oil Trading and Trafigura will ensure Angola’s supply of gasoline and diesel over the next 12 months, Angola’s national oil company Sonangol stated.
The two companies were selected from a group of nine that submitted bids, reports MacauHub.
An international public tender launched in February 27, 2019, saw Totsa Total Oil Trading land the deal for gasoline and Trafigura for diesel and marine diesel.
Although Angola is Africa’s second largest oil producer, with a production of around 1.5 million barrels per day, its refining capacity is limited to the Luanda Refinery.
