Applegreen unveils new service station with Ireland’s first Taco Bell
The company is known for pairing fuel and convenience retail with international food brands.
Irish forecourt retailer Applegreen has opened a major new service station in Dunshaughlin, unveiling Ireland’s first Taco Bell alongside a mix of food, coffee and retail outlets.
In addition to Taco Bell, the development features a Burger King, a Braeburn café, and Crafted, a new in-house food range debuting exclusively in Dunshaughlin. It also includes an M&S Food store, part of Applegreen’s growing partnership with the British retailer.
Founded in 1992, Applegreen has grown from a single service station in Ballyfermot, Dublin, to one of Ireland’s largest roadside operators, with hundreds of sites across Ireland, the UK and the US. The company is known for pairing fuel and convenience retail with international food brands such as Starbucks, Subway and Greggs, while also developing its own café and food concepts.
For Applegreen, the introduction of Taco Bell marks an effort to broaden its food offering and appeal to younger consumers, while the addition of M&S Food highlights growing demand for premium convenience shopping.
