Aral pulse supports electrified taxis
The initiative has been launched in collaboration with the City of Hamburg and the city’s taxi union to provide ultra-rapid charging services across the city.
Aral pulse has launched an initiative aimed at enhancing e-mobility across the city of Hamburg in collaboration with the Hamburg Taxi Union.
This project focuses on providing electrified taxis with access to ultra-rapid charging points throughout the city. The initiative will enable the more than 700 fully electric taxis to utilize approximately 100 ultra-rapid charging points.
Taxi drivers will have access to the full range of services offered at branded stations, including exclusive deals on charging, coffee, and car washes, as well as the opportunity to earn PAYBACK points.
“With our ultra-rapid charging options, we aim to ensure taxis can quickly return to the road after charging. We hope to replicate this model in other German cities as well,” said Alexander Junge, Aral’s Executive Board Member for E-Mobility.
This new partnership supports the ongoing ‘Future Taxi’ project, which aims to transition the Hamburg taxi industry toward more sustainable and modern transportation solutions.
With approximately 100 charging points in Hamburg, Aral pulse is a leading provider of ultra-rapid charging solutions. The expansion of the charging network in the city is part of the company's nationwide investment strategy, which currently includes over 3,000 charging points at more than 420 locations across Germany.
