Argentina: YPF presents new look for future stations

Company executives announced plans to convert 320 gas stations into the new model by the end of 2022.

Argentina’s leading oil company presented its new concept for service stations and convenience stores with the opening of a refurbished site in Buenos Aries. The presentation was led my newly appointed President, Pablo Gonzalez, and CEO, Sergio Affronti.

The new model includes a brand new FULL convenience store with digital screens and a slicker look, solar panels to reduce energy needs and a more seamless construction model. Large digital signage has also been installed next to the dispensers.

"Today we present the first YPF service station of the future in the Buenos Aires region. This development is part of a very ambitious project we have, to change and renew the image and architecture of our service stations," said Sergio Affronti, CEO of the company.

YPF’s goal is to rebrand and refurbish over 320 stations by the end of 2022. A big focus is set on the FULL c-store concept that will offer premium coffee and bakery.

The company also announced the renewal of its commitment to offer a 15% fuel discount to education and health workers across Argentina.
