Australia: Shell partners with Supercars Championship
The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship has announced Shell Fuels as an official partner for the next three years.
Shell Fuels will be the official partner of Virgin Australia Supercars Championship (formally Australian Touring Car Championship), the premier motorsport category in Australasia and one of Australia’s biggest sports.
“Our race teams and our fans want the best for their vehicles and Shell strives to achieve this – annually they invest $1.5 billion in research and development to advance fuel products,” said James Warburton, CEO of Supercars.
The sponsorship comes hot on the heels of the launch of the Shell V-Power Racing Team in partnership with DJR Team Penske, which sees Shell V-Power branding on both the No. 12 and No. 17 Ford Falcon.
