Briad to launch multi-brand Circle K travel center in New York
The developer will open a new roadside destination in Binghamton combining Circle K, Wendy’s, Dunkin’ and Papa Johns, with plans for additional locations across the state.
The Briad Group is preparing to open its first multi-brand Circle K travel center in Binghamton, New York, this fall, marking the debut of a new convenience and foodservice concept that combines fuel, retail and restaurant brands under a single roof.
Located at 265 Court Street near Interstates 81 and 86, the travel center will feature a 630 m² Circle K convenience store, eight fuel pumps and two dedicated drive-thru lanes serving Dunkin’ and Wendy’s. The site will also offer Papa Johns-branded pizza products as part of its foodservice lineup.
The Binghamton project is the first in a planned series of next-generation travel centers being developed by The Briad Group. A second location is currently under construction in Watertown, New York, and is expected to open in January 2027.
The Binghamton location represents the start of a broader expansion strategy. Under a franchise development agreement with Circle K, the company expects to develop up to 40 travel centers across New York over the long term.
“This project represents an exciting new chapter for Briad as we expand into the convenience and fuel sector with innovative nationally recognized multi-brand restaurant concepts,” said Brad Honigfeld, CEO of The Briad Group.
Construction on the Binghamton site began in early 2026, while work on the Watertown location started in June. Both projects received development financing from Peachtree Group, which has committed up to $200 million to support The Briad Group’s convenience store and travel center development plans in the coming years.
