Certas grows Gulf network in UK, buys fuel stations in Wales

Independent fuel and lubricants supplier Certas Energy has acquired six forecourts from South Wales-based David Taylor Filling Stations as it continues to expand its Gulf network in the United Kingdom.

The six David Taylor Filling Stations are located in the Welsh towns of Brecon, Pontypool, Ebbw Vale, Tredegar, Treharris, and Tonyrefail with a combined fuel throughput of 14mlpa, according to a company release.

“David Taylor Filling Stations presents Certas Energy with a well-run business and an experienced team of people with a fantastic community-orientated ethos,” explains Richard Billington, Retail Director, Certas Energy.

These add to Certas’s latest acquisition of two Petromex sites in Lancashire, England.

Certas Energy has a network of more than 500 Gulf branded forecourts in the UK.
