Circle K Latvia secures approval to acquire 26 Astarte-Nafta sites
The acquisition will extend its footprint to new areas like Līvāni and Aizpute.
Circle K Latvia has received the green light from the Competition Council (CC) to take full ownership of 26 fuel stations currently operated by ASTARTE-NAFTA, marking a strategic expansion of its network across the country. The decision comes with specific conditions to ensure fair competition, particularly in Dobele.
Already one of Latvia’s leading fuel retailers, Circle K operates 72 service stations, complemented by a network of franchise locations. The acquisition will extend its footprint to new areas like Līvāni and Aizpute, where Circle K will replace ASTARTE-NAFTA.
To address these concerns, Circle K committed to transforming the acquired Dobele site into a self-service station, offering lower prices and maintaining choice for consumers.
With this approval, Circle K is set to integrate the ASTARTE-NAFTA stations into its growing network.
