Circle K partners with VNG to offer CNG in Texas

Circle K Stores Inc. and VNG.co have entered into an agreement to implement VNG’s retail compressed natural gas fueling at Circle K’s latest facility in Houston.

“We are excited to partner with Circle K, to bring a true retail CNG fuelling experience to the market” said Robert Friedman, COO of VNG.

The site will feature fresh food offerings, ten gasoline and diesel dispensers, a convenience store and a VNG fast-fill CNG dispenser.

Circle K has been an operator of fuel and convenience stores for more than 50 years. It currently has more than 3,300 Circle K stores across the USA and over 4,000 international locations.

VNG said it offers retail CNG fueling to support and accelerate the widespread use of light-duty CNG capable vehicles by national and regional fleets, and eventually the mass-market consumer segment. VNG installs, maintains and operates its retail CNG fuelling equipment within existing retail gasoline stations.
