Clean Energy grows RNG network along U.S. freight corridors
Six new stations strengthen access to renewable natural gas for heavy‑duty fleets across key logistics routes.
Clean Energy Fuels has expanded its renewable natural gas (RNG) fueling network with six new stations located along major freight corridors in the United States, increasing access for heavy‑duty fleets seeking lower‑emission fuel alternatives. The newly operational stations are spread across California, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Michigan and Washington, with placements near distribution centers and high‑traffic trucking routes.
The expansion is designed to support long-haul transportation and regional operations in their transition from diesel to natural gas-based solutions. All six stations are equipped with fast‑fill dispensers and are designed to accommodate tractor‑trailers, supporting efficient refueling for commercial fleets operating on tight schedules.
“With diesel prices remaining very high and volatile, it’s perfect timing to expand our offering of a price‑stable, low‑cost fuel for fleets who want to cut their carbon emissions,” said Chad Lindholm, senior vice president at Clean Energy Fuels.
The expansion builds on Clean Energy’s existing network of more than 600 fueling stations across North America, serving sectors such as trucking, transit, waste management and airport operations.
