CNG filling stations run dry in Punjab
In the face of cold temperatures, many CNG filling stations in the Punjab region, between India and Pakistan, have run empty.
The CNG supply was suspended on Thursday morning for an indefinite period due to the cold weather.
A high demand from households for home CNG consumption forced the supplying companies to cut pipes dry, reported Samaa.
Officials stated there was no need to panic for industries and domestic users would continue to have CNG supply through the winter period.
