Co-op, Gophr to ramp up online home delivery in Scotland
Convenience retailer partnered with Gophr to offer home delivery in six Co-op stores in Glasgow, before rolling out to over 50 locations across the country.
Co-op has partnered with same-day home delivery specialists, Gophr, to further expand the roll-out of its online shop in Scotland and increase the number of slots available for shoppers.
The retailer ramps up home delivery in Scotland with the partnership live in six Co-op stores in Glasgow this month, before rolling out to more than 50 stores in towns and cities across Scotland over the coming weeks in areas including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Inverness and Perth.
Deliveries can be made up to 4km from the store through Co-op’s own online shop, and the delivery expected time is no longer than two hours. Customers can choose from around 4,500 products, and can track their deliveries in real time. A free Click & Collect service is also available.
Co-op launched its own online shop in March last year and accelerated its roll-out this year as demand for online convenience grew. The convenience retailer is on track to offer online shopping – through its own online shop and with partners - from more than 650 stores UK-wide by the end of the year.
