Comply or shut down, Saudi highway gas stations warned
Petrol stations on highways have six months to comply to new regulations or take the risk of being shut down, reports Reuters.
Lack of garbage bins, displacement of products, and low sanitation in the mosque are violations that will penalized with temporary shutdown.
Ventilation issues in the mosque, absence of cleaning workers, and more than 25 percent of hoses in the restroom malfunctioning may lead to permanent shutdown.
All gas station owners have signed and agreed to comply to the latest rules, according to Saudi authorities.
Involved in the gas station regulations are the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, the Civil Defense, the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, and the Ministry of Transport.
