Couche-Tard to buy 21 stores, 151 locations in Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana
Quebec’s Alimentation Couche-Tard said in mid-March it will buy 21 stores in addition to 151 fuel dispensing locations and five land properties that have yet to be developed, all in three States in the south of the United States.
The transaction is expected to be concluded in the first quarter of 2016 at the latest, the company said.
Confidentiality agreements keep the companies from discussing prices, the company press release said. Couche-Tard will use its own cash to pay for the purchase.
All locations will eventually operate under the Circle K brand.
After the transaction the company will have 335 corporate locations in the southwest of the US.
