Croatian authorities raise taxes on fuel, Reuters reports
Croatian authorities raised in mid-April the excise duties for petrol to obtain resources to better fight a fiscal gap, under pressure from the European Commission, Reuters news agency said in a recent report.
The government projects the new duties, also imposed on tobacco, will bring in some US $84 million annually, the news agency added.
