CST Brands to acquire Flash Foods
Fuel and convenience retail giant CST Brands is finalizing an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the outstanding shares of Waycross, Georgia-based Flash Foods, Inc. from the Jones Company, reported a company release.
The acquisition, which includes a 164-strong network of Flash Food c-stores in Florida and Georgia, would contribute to CST Brands’ expansion and further solidify its presence and CrossAmerica Partners’ across the mid-Atlantic and southern regions of the United States.
The purchase considered as the largest in CST history would also include “21 branded Quick Service Restaurants, a land bank of 15 real estate sites, a merchandise distribution company, and a fuel supply company with access to the Colonial and Plantation Pipelines.”
