Duckhams Oils hits EG forecourts following Zuber Issa investment
Duckhams’ range of engine oils is now rolling out across 150 EG On The Move forecourts in the UK.
Duckhams, the historic British motor oil brand, is returning to prominence after a new investment by Zuber Issa, co-founder of EG Group. Following Issa’s undisclosed investment in May 2025, Duckhams’ range of engine oils is now rolling out across 150 EG On The Move forecourts in England, Scotland, and Wales, from Aberdeen to Ashford and Bridgend to Bexhill-on-Sea.
The move marks a significant expansion for the 125-year-old brand, which has long been associated with British motoring heritage. Founded by Alexander Duckham in 1899, the company pioneered Europe’s first multigrade oil and has played a part in motorsport and record-breaking automotive feats.
Duckhams CEO Mike Bewsey said the investment had already accelerated growth: “A recognisable brand like Duckhams gives drivers confidence to top up their oil and keep moving. We are already seeing the benefits of our partnership with Zuber, who values the extraordinary legacy and immense potential for growth for the Duckhams brand.”
EG On The Move, a division of EG Group, operates one of the UK’s largest fuel and convenience networks, combining fuel sales with branded food and retail offerings. The addition of Duckhams products reflects a strategy to strengthen British-made automotive lines in forecourt retail.
