Emarat offers free dates and water during Iftar time
Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, also known as Emarat, said in mid-June it is offering at its service stations free dates and water to all customers during the Iftar time.
Emarat carries out this initiative annually during the month in which Ramadan is observed to help the fasters who happen to be at the corporation's service stations when the fast is broken, said Hussain Kazim, spokesman at Emarat
“This is the least that can be done to help fasters who do not reach their homes in time to break their fast properly,” he said.
