Finland's Neste appoints new VP of Production
Marko Pekkola has been appointed Vice President of Production in the Neste's Oil Products business area.
Finnish oil company Neste, known for producing renewable diesel, has appointed Marko Pekkola, 47, as the new VP of Production in the oil products department. He will transfer to the position from Stora Enso where he worked as Senior Vice President, Head of Operations in the Consumer Board Division.
The new appointment also means a move for Jukka Kanerva, current Vice President of Production, who will lead the major turnaround project planned for Porvoo production facilities in 2020.
“Marko Pekkola will transfer to the position from Stora Enso where he worked as Senior Vice President, Head of Operations in the Consumer Board Division,” said Matti Lehmus, Executive Vice President of Neste's Oil Products business area.
In 2016, Neste's net sales stood at EUR 11.7 billion, and they were on the Global 100 list of the 100 most sustainable companies in the world.
